I think that worse thing that has ever happen to me was finding out that one of my friends has a brain a tumor. I went to go see her yesterday because she is not doing very well. She was really happy to see the girls and me. The saddest thing as that the doctor gave her only a couple of days to like two weeks to live. I am really bummed out because she was a really strong girl and to see her laying on the hospital bed helpless brakes me heart.

The Royal Navy of the United Kingdom is the oldest of the British armed services . From the early 18th century to the middle of the 20th century, it was the largest and most powerful navy in the world, playing a key part in establishing the British Empire as the dominant power of the 19th and early 20th centuries. In WWII, the Royal Navy operated almost 600 ships. During the Cold War, it was transformed into a primarily anti-submarine force, hunting for Soviet submarines, mostly active in the North Atlantic Ocean. With the collapse of the Soviet Union, its role for the 21st century has returned to focus on global expeditionary operations.

The pick of the week is "Cities taking vehicles of uninsured off street". Phoenix police towed 10,467 vehicles in the past year, under a state law that targets uninsured drivers involved in car accidents. The drivers of more than half 6,784 of the vehicles towed between March 31, 2006, and February lacked a driver's license when police pulled them over for traffic violations, said Phoenix police Officer Hugo Lopez. Under the law, which took effect in August 2005, vehicles involved in traffic violations must be impounded if a driver lacks a license or if he or she has been involved in an accident without insurance and a license. It took Phoenix a while to create a special unit to handle the requirement, police said. Since then, they've been confiscating an average of 1,300 cars per month.

Would I like to be famous? In all honesty no; because people that are famous never seem to have privacy. In the tabbloids you see all sorts of famous people business. For example whos Anna Nicole's baby's dad or Britney Spears back in rehab. Who cares what they are doing. Although I would like to be rich for working hard or investing in something that matters. If I do become famous I would want it to be for something that makes a change in the world. Not for showing my body on national televesion wearing nothing but a bathing suit.

I'm glad I waited a semester to come register in College. It gave me time to get my thoughts together and it made me realize how much I miss school. I felt like a loser when I was just at home for like a semester not doing anything, but thinking what do I want to major in. Now that I'm enrolled in school I feel a lot better about me. In addition this summer I'm attending school. Hopefully I pass all my classes.

The Quebec general election of 2007 was held in the Canadian province of Quebec on March 26, 2007 to elect members of the National Assembly of Quebec. Despite recording only a 33% share of the popular vote, the Quebec Liberal Party managed to win a plurality of seats. The Liberals were, however, reduced to a minority government, Quebec's first in 129 years, since the 1878 general election. The Action démocratique du Québec, in a major breakthrough, became the official opposition. The Parti Québécois was relegated to third-party status for the first time since the 1973 election. The Liberals won their lowest share of the popular vote since Confederation, and the PQ won their lowest share since 1973 and their second lowest ever. Each of the three major parties won nearly one-third of the popular vote, easily the closest three-way split in Quebec electoral history. Voter turnout among those eligible was 71.28%.

My pick of the week is "Arizona among top 10 states for mortgage fraud". Arizona has went up to No. 7 in a ranking of states with the greatest amount of mortgage fraud, passing the 23rd spot it held the previous year. They say this is the highest Arizona has placed on the Mortgage Asset Research Institute's annual fraud survey. The placement is based on the number of mortgage fraud cases per total of state home loans. Data from the nation's biggest lenders are used to compile the survey. In January, legislation is making mortgage fraud a felony and a bill to license loan officers were introduced. It is estimated that 18,000 unlicensed people are taking mortgage applications and loan commissions in Arizona. But both bills could die if they aren't heard this week.

A mirror neuron is a neuron which fires both when an animal performs an action and when the animal observes the same action performed by another animal. Thus, the neuron "mirrors" the behavior of another animal, as though the observer were himself performing the action. These neurons have been observed in primates, in some birds, and in humans. In humans, they have been found in Broca's area and the inferior parietal cortex of the brain. Some scientists consider mirror neurons one of the most important findings of neuroscience in the last decade. See for example, an essay by Ramachandran on their potential importance in imitation and language.

International Women's Day is marked on 8 March every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. Started as a political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries .In some celebrations, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their sympathy and love to the women around them - somewhat similar to Western Mother's Day and St Valentine's Day mixed together. In others, however, the political and human rights theme as designated by the United Nations runs strong, and political and social awareness of the struggles of women worldwide are brought out and examined in a hopeful manner.

Today I woke up and I realize how much I enjoy attending school. Not only does it help me understand everything better, but sometimes it helps forget my worries that I have about other things. For example my mom had a hysterectomy almost three years ago and then she had this minor surgery where they put a support for her bladder. Ever since the last surgery she has been complaining that her bladder is still bothering her. Yesterday the Doctors assistant called and gave me the results of her MRI. The assistant said that they found the linning of the bladder to be thickin(whatever that means) so anywho now my mom is really worried. Not because of the fact that she might need another minor surgery, but because cancer runs in my family. So until March 12 exactly two oclock pm we won't know what to expect.

It was great to see how the water deposits and all the minerals turned this beautiful color; it was like a translucet yellow. They were like rocks, but the tour guy called them straws and columns. It was magnificent to see how nature is so amazing and beautiful. It was so humid inside of the cave. It was so big, and they had the original foot steps of the founders of the cave.

A year before the Arizona Board of Education gave him a certification allowing him to work; which they were aware of his wrong doing too.

So far in this course it's been good. Its nothing as I imagine. Some of my class mates are nice and talkative, which I like. As for my teacher she seems a little tough, but if your on her good side she seems to be ok. I like the way we have options to do our work either on paper or the computer. I really enjoy writing in my blogger, because I think that is a good way to express my self. Also it helps me relax and brainstorm too. The only dislike I have is I wish we could have more time to do homework; the keyword is wish.

Journal#7 What I noticed about me today?

What I noticed about me today is actually a couple of things. I woke up this morning and I was in a good mood. I started my morning like always. This morning was a little different after breakfast, because I thought about how proud I am about my self and how responsible I been so far and also I been trying to be consistent too . I realized that I been sticking with new things in my life. For example every morning I try to excersise a little bit. Also I been trying my best in school for a long time and now I am in college. I think I am doing a good job being in school and trying to do something that really matters in my life. Also anothert thing is for the past few years, losing weight was my resolution but I never accomplished it. So this morning I realized I have been consistent with many things, and exercise is another.

If I was to become famous, which is going to happen someday, I would like to be known for being an actress. But that is more likely to not happen, so maybe for being a good surgical technician. I love to act but becoming a surgical technician is a lot more life savings and difference maker.

A dare that somebody suggest I did was to kiss my crush. My freshman year their was this boy name Manuel and he was my friend, he didn't know that I liked him, so I thought. On the last day of school I was telling my friend that it would be the last time I would see him til next year. So somehow she had this bright idea to tell me " I dare you to go up to him and kiss him". I don't know why but I did it. It was crazy, I went up to him and right before he was going to hug me I laid one on him. I stood quite for a minute and I was thinking "what did I just do?" I ran off without saying good bye, it was embarrassing.
