Journal#24
The pick of the week is "Man found stuck in grocery store ductwork". A man was rescued on the morning of March 27, 2007 after he was found stuck in the air-conditioning ductwork of a Glendale supermarket. They assume it was a burglary-gone-bad and Cole said when workers arrived at the Food City this morning at 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road they saw debris on the floor, along with some gloves. When they looked up, Cole said, they saw a guy stuck in the ductwork. Cole said officers thought the man had been severely injured because he wasn't moving. Firefighters were brought to the scene and managed to rescue the man, who wasn't immediately identified.Cole said he wasn't as severely injured as thought, however.Police planned to question him once he had been treated for any injuries.
